WASHINGTON, Dec. 24 (TNSFR) -- Kansas State Historical Society, Topeka, has completed an inventory of Native American human remains and associated funerary objects and determined that the materials are culturally affiliated with the Kaw Nation and the Nez Perce Tribe. The determination was made in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act following consultation and an evaluation of geographic and historical information.
