WASHINGTON, Dec. 23 (TNSFR) -- Yale University Peabody Museum, New Haven, Connecticut, has announced its intent to repatriate Native American cultural items under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, following a determination of cultural affiliation. The notice, published in the Federal Register, states that the museum has identified a connection between the cultural items in its collection and the Stockbridge Munsee Community.
