WASHINGTON, Dec. 23 (TNSFR) -- Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, has completed an inventory of Native American human remains and associated funerary objects and determined that they are culturally affiliated with several Tribal Nations in Florida and Oklahoma. The finding follows a detailed review conducted under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act and clears the way for repatriation of the ancestral remains and cultural items held in federal custody.
