Princeton University to Repatriate Ancestral Remains to Multiple Affiliated Tribal Nations

WASHINGTON, Dec. 23 (TNSFR) -- Princeton University, New Jersey, has completed an inventory of Native American human remains held in its collections and determined that the remains are culturally affiliated with multiple federally recognized Indian Tribes.

The inventory identified human remains representing at least two individuals. One individual was removed from Marion County, Indiana and acquired in the late nineteenth century by Reverend R. T. Liston, a Presbyterian missionary. . . .
