WASHINGTON, Dec. 23 (TNSFR) -- Mercyhurst University, Erie, Pennsylvania, has completed an inventory of Native American human remains and associated funerary objects and determined cultural affiliation with a broad group of Tribal Nations. The action is being taken under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act and involves the remains of at least 25 Native American individuals and two associated funerary objects originating from archaeological sites in Lorain County, Ohio.
