VA Addresses Public Feedback on PFAS, Kidney Cancer Study

WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has issued a response to public comments regarding its plan to evaluate the links between per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and kidney cancer.

This review, conducted under the PACT Act, aims to determine if kidney cancer should become a presumptive condition for disability benefits for veterans exposed to these chemicals during military service.
