WASHINGTON, Dec. 21 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration announced plans to designate a supplemental type certificate as abandoned after failing to locate the owner, Stephen M. Hill whose last known address was in Florence, South Carolina.

This move allows the government to release specialized engineering data to third parties to help maintain aircraft airworthiness.
