WASHINGTON, Dec. 21 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced a waiver of dozens of federal and state laws to accelerate the construction of barriers and roads along the California border. This decision targets the El Centro Sector, an area identified by federal officials as having high levels of illegal entry and narcotics smuggling.
