WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has extended the deadline for public input on the utility of its Survey of Market Absorption of New Multifamily Units (SOMA).
HUD is assessing current requirements for data from the SOMA. This survey tracks the rate at which various types of apartments and condominiums are taken off the market--typically rented or sold--during the first twelve months following a building's completion.
