WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture has commenced a review of its regulations concerning refined sugar imports following the enactment of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
The act mandates the Secretary of Agriculture to conduct a study on whether establishing additional terms and conditions for refined sugar imports is appropriate and necessary. The law amended the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938 to require this examination.
