FAA Sets Safety Standards for PW220A Engine's Novel Power Rating

WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has issued final special conditions for the PW220A aircraft engine model. These conditions address a nonstandard design feature: a combined 30-second and 2-minute one engine inoperative (OEI) power rating into a single, extended rating.
