WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Trade Representative has announced a targeted action determining that it will impose a phased-in tariff on certain imported goods from Nicaragua.
This measure follows an investigation that found Nicaragua's policies regarding labor rights, human rights, fundamental freedoms and the rule of law are unreasonable and burden U.S. commerce.
