NCUA Proposes to Reclassify Credit Union Member Data Security Guidelines

WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 (TNSFR) -- The National Credit Union Administration has proposed to remove guidelines for safeguarding member information, from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). The appendix was put in place to help federally insured credit unions (FICUs) meet their legal obligation to protect the security and confidentiality of customer records and prevent unauthorized access.
