WASHINGTON, Dec. 11 -- Appearing on ABC7's "Up Close With Bill Ritter" on Dec. 7, 2025, Mayor Eric Adams reflected on his tenure as the 110th mayor of New York City as his first term nears its end. The mayor gave his administration an "A" grade, citing record-breaking progress in housing, crime reduction, including the lowest numbers of shootings and shooting victims in the city's history and economic growth, which generated the highest number of jobs ever.
