WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (TNSFR) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission announced it has granted three exemptions to two power companies during the period spanning July 1, 2025, to Sept. 30, 2025. This action responds to requests submitted by Pacific Gas and Electric Co., Oakland, California, and Northern States Power Co., Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The exemptions relate to specific requirements in the NRC's regulations, as outlined in publicly available documents.
