WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General has initiated its annual process to update regulations governing the Federal anti-kickback statute.

HHS published a notification of intent to develop regulations under 42 CFR Part 1001, soliciting recommendations for establishing or modifying "safe harbor" provisions and for issuing Special Fraud Alerts.
