WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Energy has extended the effective date of a rule that would rescind regulations for loans to minority business enterprises.
The direct final rule entitled "Rescinding Regulations for Loans for Minority Business Enterprises Seeking DOE Contracts and Assistance," was originally published on May 16, 2025. It will now be delayed until March 9, 2026, marking its third postponement.
