WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has further postponed the effective date of a rule that would eliminate nondiscrimination requirements for federally assisted construction programs.
The direct final rule, originally published on May 16, 2025, has been delayed again, this time until March 9, 2026. This is the third time the effective date has been extended.
