WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has announced the annual national deadlines for airport sponsors to apply for 2026 Airport Improvement Program (AIP) entitlement funds.
This process is necessary to ensure the agency has sufficient time to convert and protect any undeclared apportioned funds, which is required by U.S. law, Title 49 U.S.C. 47105(f). The notification must be submitted to the local FAA Regional Airports . . .
