WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration proposed to establish and amend the Class E airspace at South Bend, Indiana.
This action is the result of the decommissioning of the Keeler very high frequency omnidirectional range (VOR) as part of the VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) Program. The proposed changes are necessary to ensure the airspace complies with FAA orders and continues to support instrument flight rule (IFR) . . .
