WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Communications Commission adopted proposals to eliminate six existing mandates for consumer broadband labels, a measure intended to reduce compliance burdens on service providers while preserving the core benefits for consumers.
FCC acted to remove certain requirements that it viewed as unduly burdensome or as no longer useful to consumers, an effort to better align the rules with the goals of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
