WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has issued a final rule to amend and establish airspace classifications around several airports in Wichita, Kansas.
This rule implements a request from the U.S. Air Force to convert the McConnell Air Force Base Class D airspace from full-time to part-time operation and establish a corresponding part-time Class E surface airspace.
