WASHINGTON, Dec. 3 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service delayed the start of its verification activities, including sampling and testing, for Salmonella in not ready-to-eat (NRTE) breaded stuffed chicken products.
This postponement is due to limitations in current testing methods, which have resulted in false positive findings, especially at low levels of contamination.
