WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration is soliciting public comments to determine if instruments of equivalent scientific value to 12 foreign-made items are manufactured in the U.S.

This request aligns with the Educational, Scientific and Cultural Materials Importation Act of 1966, which permits duty-free entry for certain scientific equipment when no comparable domestic alternative exists.
