WASHINGTON, Nov. 30 (TNSFR) -- Vee Rubber Corp. Ltd., Bangkok, Thailand, and American Honda Motor Co. Inc., Torrance, California, received a ruling from the U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration granting their petitions for inconsequential noncompliance.

The decision exempts both companies from providing notification and a remedy for a Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 119 violation involving certain motorcycle tires.
