WASHINGTON, Nov. 30 (TNSFR) -- ST Engineering Hackney Inc., Washington, North Carolina, has asked the U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for a decision that a noncompliance in its trailers is inconsequential to motor vehicle safety.
The company determined that approximately 2,428 model year 2015-2022 Kidron Refrigerated Van trailers did not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 223, Rear Impact Guards.
