WASHINGTON, Nov. 26 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has proposed special conditions for the modified Robinson Model R66 helicopter.
This action addresses the helicopter's novel or unusual design feature: a four-axis full authority digital fly-by-wire (FBW) flight control system (FCS). The modification, developed by Skyryse, provides aircraft control through pilot input or coupled autopilot modes.
