WASHINGTON, Nov. 26 (TNSFR) -- The New York State Museum, Albany, has announced plans to repatriate hundreds of cultural items classified as unassociated funerary objects, according to a notice filed with the National Park Service under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. The notice documents a total of 324 materials identified as burial-related objects affiliated with the Stockbridge-Munsee Community of Wisconsin.
