Temple University to Repatriate Native American Remains and Artifacts to Multiple Tribal Nations

WASHINGTON, Nov. 26 (TNSFR) -- Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has completed an inventory of Native American human remains and funerary objects and identified cultural affiliation linking the materials to numerous Tribal Nations. The notice states that the remains of at least five individuals, along with two associated projectile points, were recovered from the Schacht Site in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, before entering University holdings in 1968.
