WASHINGTON, Nov. 25 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of War (formerly the U.S. Department of Defense) has advanced its foreign policy and national security objectives by notifying Congress of two arms sales totaling over $1 billion to Canada and Italy. This disclosure, transmitted in an unclassified notice, fulfills requirements under the Arms Export Control Act.
