WASHINGTON, Nov. 26 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has concluded a proposed settlement agreement with Northern Indiana Public Service Co. LLC (NIPSCO), Merrillville, Indiana, concerning potential natural resource damages at the Stateline Reach Site in Lake County, Indiana.

The agreement resolves claims stemming from the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).
