WASHINGTON, Nov. 25 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement has issued a direct final rule to rescind provisions governing the distribution of prior balance replacement funds.
This action aims to remove obsolete language from Federal regulations that described how the agency awards and distributes these funds to eligible States and Tribes.
