WASHINGTON, Nov. 24 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued a final rule to update and revise the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) for 2026.
This regulation also updates the payment rate for renal dialysis services provided by an ESRD facility to individuals with acute kidney injury (AKI) and revises the requirements for the ESRD Quality Incentive Program (QIP).
