WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection has amended its regulations for the Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) program to address aviation security threats.

This interim final rule mandates the transmission of additional data elements for flights carrying cargo into the U.S. to enhance security. The ACAS program requires air cargo data transmission and targeted risk assessments based on that data prior to an aircraft' . . .
