WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has approved a revision to the California state implementation plan (SIP) concerning the Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District (EKAPCD).
This revision addresses emissions of oxides of nitrogen (NOX) from stationary gas turbines within the District. The EPA is approving a local rule, designated as Rule 425, that regulates these emission sources under the Clean Air Act (CAA or "Act").
