WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation has withdrawn its advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) concerning "Airline Passenger Rights," which was issued on Dec. 11, 2024.
The proposed rule would have mandated airlines to provide various expensive measures, such as cash compensation, free rebooking, meals, and lodging, to passengers who experienced flight cancellations or lengthy delays.
