EPA Proposes to Approve California Plan for San Joaquin Valley Ozone Standards

WASHINGTON, Nov. 14 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to approve a state implementation plan (SIP) submission from the state of California regarding the 1997 ozone national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) in the San Joaquin Valley. The action determines that California has met the attainment-related contingency measure requirements for the area.
