WASHINGTON, Nov. 8 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed regulatory actions to list several alternative substances as acceptable, subject to use conditions, for refrigeration, air conditioning, and fire suppression sectors.

This action, taken under the EPA's Significant Alternatives Policy (SNAP) program, evaluates human health and environmental data to provide industry with additional options for substitutes.
