WASHINGTON, Nov. 6 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has accelerated the effective date of a rule concerning the protection of federal property by nearly two months. This final rule changes the date from Jan. 1, 2026, to Nov. 5, 2025, allowing the rules to be implemented immediately to address escalating security threats.
