WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 -- Fiserv Inc., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, published its Small Business Index for October 2025, reporting that the seasonally adjusted Index held steady at 148. While both year-over-year sales and transactions grew modestly, the 1.5% annual sales growth marked the slowest pace recorded since February 2025. When adjusted for inflation, small business sales declined by 1.4% year-over-year, representing the sharpest drop in eight months.
