EPA Proposes Strict Significant New Use Rules on 4 Chemicals

WASHINGTON, Nov. 1 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed rules to control the manufacture and processing of four chemical substance.

This move, known as a significant new use rule (SNUR), would require companies to notify the agency at least 90 days before commencing any activity designated as a "significant new use."
