Maine PUC Opens Bidding for Distributed Generation Energy Contracts

WASHINGTON, Nov. 1 (TNSdok) -- The Maine Public Utilities Commission issued an order on Oct. 31, 2025, initiating a competitive procurement to source renewable energy and credits from certain distributed generation facilities across the state. The action is titled "Request for Proposals for the Sale of Energy or Renewable Energy Credits from Eligible Distributed Generation Resources Pursuant to 35-A M.R.S. Sec. 3209-H" (Docket No. 2025-00319).
