WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- New York City Mayor Eric Adams presented a comprehensive $146 million neighborhood plan on Oct. 21, 2025, in the Jewel Streets area of Brooklyn and Queens. The plan will transform the flood-prone community by building new sewers, a blue belt drainage system, and creating 5,000 affordable homes.
