UK Calls on Nations to Recognize Kosovo Independence at U.N.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 -- British Minister Counsellor Jennifer MacNaughtan delivered a statement at the United Nations in New York, urging United Nations member states that have not yet recognized Kosovo's independence to do so. The United Kingdom remains a supporter of Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic path and calls recognition essential for stability and unlocking its potential.
