WASHINGTON, Oct. 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has announced a determination to waive various laws and legal requirements to facilitate the accelerated construction of barriers and roads along the international border in the Yuma Sector of Arizona. This determination is based on the necessity of achieving and maintaining operational control of the border, a key mandate for border security.
