WASHINGTON, Oct. 15 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration has issued a temporary order to place seven benzimidazole-opioids under the strictest controls of the Controlled Substances Act. This decisive action is taken because the substances pose an imminent hazard to public safety. The controls will be effective for two years, concluding on Oct. 15, 2027.
