EPA Approves Revision to North Carolina Sulfur Dioxide Emissions Rule

WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is approving a state implementation plan revision submitted by the North Carolina Division of Environmental Quality Division of Air Quality. This action updates state regulations that establish sulfur dioxide (SO2) emission limits and compliance rules for SO2-emitting combustion sources across North Carolina.
