WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of State is requiring the head of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his delegation to secure prior approval for travel beyond a 25-mile radius of Columbus Circle in New York City. This restriction applies while the delegation is in the U.S. for the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 80) in Sept. 2025.
