Treasury Extends Comment Period on Guiding, Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act Implementation

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury is extending the time for the public to submit comments on its advance notice of proposed rulemaking regarding the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act.

The advance notice was initially published in the Federal Register on Sept. 19, 2025, to gather public input on how the GENIUS Act should be put into effect.
