WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- At the United Nations in New York, Ambassador James Kariuki, United Kingdom deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, announced the UK's full commitment to supporting efforts to address insecurity in Haiti. The UK voted in favor of the resolution establishing a Gang Suppression Force and a U.N. Support Office in Haiti.
